Optimisation Strategies

A Voice AI Agent should not stay frozen in the state it went live in. Prompt versioning and A/B testing make it possible to show with evidence which wording and which order of questions produces a better outcome. It replaces "I think this reads better" with "we tested it, this version performs X percent better".

A healthy optimisation rhythm settles four questions: who proposes changes, usually from observations coming out of the QA process; who tests them; who approves them; and how often the whole thing is reviewed, on a weekly or monthly cadence. Leaving optimisation ad hoc, fixing things only when somebody happens to notice, means most improvements never happen at all, because noticing is a passive process rather than a systematic one.
