Daily Operations
Once a Voice AI Agent is live, the deployment is not finished. Operations have started. Daily operations make clear who is watching which dashboard, which metrics are inside the normal range and in what situation someone intervenes.
A healthy operating rhythm usually runs in three layers. In the morning check, the alerts that built up overnight or over the weekend are reviewed: has anything been missed, is there a recurring error? During the day, live calls, escalation rate and system health are followed on a dashboard that stays open. That is usually a routine running in the background which draws attention when something deviates. In the end of day summary, the overall picture is reviewed briefly: which scenarios came up most often, where friction appeared, and whether a note needs to be left for tomorrow.
CBOT's dashboard shows the team every live call, escalation rate and system health in one place. The aim is to notice a problem the moment a deviation appears on the dashboard rather than when a customer complains.
A common mistake: leaving monitoring as "everyone's responsibility". A dashboard existing does not mean anyone is watching it regularly. When no particular person or shift is explicitly assigned to watch it that day, the dashboard is quietly ignored and the problem is only noticed when a customer complains, which inverts the reason the dashboard exists. The first rule of daily operations is that it is always clear who is watching.
