The virtual assistant that makes reaching women's health information accurate.

"Bilene Sor" is an AI-based virtual assistant Bayer built with CBOT to give women instant, medically approved answers about contraception and women's health. Running on the CBOT Platform, it covers more than 130 topics and is available on the Women's Health TV website.

01Executive summary

To make trustworthy information on women's health and contraception easier to reach, Bayer worked with CBOT on "Bilene Sor", an AI assistant whose answers are all prepared and medically approved by Bayer and always point women to a gynecologist for personal advice. The CBOT team owned the full design, delivery and maintenance of the assistant. The outcome is an example of AI for Good, one that keeps accurate information accessible anytime and anywhere.

Instead of a call center or a search through menus, women simply ask Bilene Sor and get a medically approved answer, one that always points them to a gynecologist.
02The need

Contraception and the menstrual cycle are subjects women may find difficult to discuss openly or seek help with. Misinformation in this area can lead to significant health issues and even loss of life, and lack of access to accurate information hinders women's ability to plan their lives and take an active part in social and economic spheres.
